Creamy Golden Kiwi Soda
I recently received a box from Say Weee! which is one of the largest online Asian supermarket online. I would be honest to you, when they first came out I was really hesitant because I’ve had a long run of ordering things online from sketchy sites just because I was desperate for Asian goodies. Well… I will have to say I DEFINTELY received items from them and they were all fresh and frozen! I’m going to assume there’s a warehouse near me to make that possible, but I am totally going to check out their website for more items.
This time they sent me a whole box of Zespri Golden Kiwis, and I will have to be honest with you. It was stressing me out! I gave out A LOT of kiwis, but I knew I had to do something with them (I don’t like kiwis). I decided the easiest thing to make would be a drink! I love Yakult and anything mixed with it will turn out good, right?
This was honestly super quick and easy. You can use any fruit you want!
Creamy Golden Kiwi Soda
• 1 Golden Kiwi
• 1 tbsp. sugar (adjust according to taste)
• 1 bottle Yakult
• Sparking water or Club soda to top off
• Kiwi, lime or mint to garnish
- Peel and dice up 1 golden kiwi and add it to your cup. Add your sugar and use a muddler to crush the kiwi, combining the 2 ingredients together.
- Add your favorite ice.
- Pour in 1 bottle of Yakult.
- Top your glass with sparking water or club soda.
- Garnish with kiwi, lime, or mint.
- Enjoy!
